May 14 – Hello Harajuku Fashion Show

Hello Harajuku is a student-produced and organized fashion show highlighting the vibrant and unique styles of Japan’s Harajuku district. Fashion students have worked together to design and style looks inspired by the fashion trends across Japan for this year’s annual Fullerton Department Fashion Show. It will be held at the Wilshire Auditorium from 6:30-9 p.m. on Monday, May 14.

Join Ethnic Studies on Thursday, May 3 at 6 p.m. in Building 200, Room 224-228 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the East LA Blowouts, when high school students walked out of their classrooms to demand educational justice and a culturally relevant curriculum. Paula Crisostomo, student organizer, will be a special guest speaker. Crisostomo was the protagonist featured in the film “Walkout.”
