FC Forensics Speech and Debate Team Finish 2017 Season Strong

The Fullerton College Forensics Speech and Debate Team finished off its 2017 season strong, taking home numerous awards during the 24th Blumer Speech & Debate Tournament at Cal State Fullerton on May 6.

Teammates Anu Parikh and Zeal Ahir were undefeated and finished first place while Todd Blood and Mary Curz Williams finished in third. Fullerton College also took home several top speaker awards as Josh Smith won a third-place open speaker award while Ahir, Parikh, and Blood earned first-, second-, and third-place novice speaker awards respectively.

Fullerton College also took home individual events awards as Daniela Ramirez earned first place in informative speaking while Steven Cisterna and Johnathan Soto earned second place in persuasive and impromptu speaking respectively.
