Mindful March Offerings Promote Awareness, Reflection, Self-Compassion

Fullerton College’s Mindful Growth Initiative will offer a series of workshops and sessions throughout the month of March that promote mindful awareness, reflection, and self-compassion. The activities are open to all students, faculty, and staff. Mindful March activities include:

  • Mindful Mondays – Offered every Monday at 12 p.m., these sessions provide 30 minutes of meditation and relaxation. See the flyer for dates and locations.
  • Mindful Awareness/Mindfulness Class – Offered every Thursday in March beginning March 5 at 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. in Building 1400, Room 1426. This class specifically focuses on mindful awareness. Space is limited. To RSVP email agarcia@fullcoll.edu and view the flyer for more information.
  • Making Friends with Yourself: A Mindful Self-Compassion Program – This 8-week program offers tools for recognizing and managing challenges, and teaches how to meet struggles with kindness and compassion begins March 6 at 10 a.m. in Room 1426. For additional dates and details view the flyer.
  • Mindfulness Club Meetings – Like-minded students gather together on the first Thursday of each month at 2 – 3 p.m. in Building 500, Room 526N. Learn more about this club by texting #810-10 with the message @fcmindful.
