Are you intrigued to learn how mindfulness can help students enhance the ability to pay attention, increase overall well-being, and improve academic performance? If so, please consider this unique opportunity designed for student leaders.
The Mindfulness Institute for Student Leaders is a three-week program designed for students to enhance their ability to pay attention, increase overall well-being, and improve academic performance. This collaborative and experiential program covers topics such as mindfulness definition/s, the neuroscience of mindfulness, benefits of mindfulness (focused attention, sleep benefits, emotional well-being, pro-social values, mindful communication skills) while participants learn informal and formal mindfulness practices that can be applied and used in the academic setting.

Do I need to attend all three sessions?
Yes, each session builds on the prior session, so it is expected that participants will be present for all sessions.
What will I receive for my attendance?
A certificate of completion that can be used for job and transfer applications.
