Save Lives, Donate Blood

Fullerton College Students have an opportunity to save lives and help Associated Students (A.S.) exceed their goal of donating more than 500 pints of blood this year during the Spring American Red Cross Blood Drive. The drive, sponsored by A.S. and the American Red Cross, is taking place through Tuesday, March 10 between the hours of 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

During this time, students and staff can make an appointment with A.S. to give blood on March 11 or 12 when the American Red Cross returns to campus for collections. Walk-ins will also be accepted on these dates but appointments are strongly encouraged to avoid long wait times.

With every collected pint providing the opportunity to save three lives, Fullerton College helped save nearly 1,500 lives in 2014. The American Red Cross has considered FC a model college for successful blood drives, honoring A.S. with the American Red Cross Platinum Award three years in a row. A.S. would like to increase those numbers in 2015. Students and staff are welcome to set up an appointment through March 10. To make an appointment or for more information contact the A.S. office at (714) 992-7118.
