World AIDS Day Resource Fair and Movie Night

Health Services and the iHeart club at Fullerton College will help bring awareness to those affected by HIV and AIDS during World AIDS Day on Tuesday, Dec. 1. World AIDS Day events take place across the country to raise awareness and show support for people living with HIV.

A resource fair on the Quad will be held 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. with community partners such as, AIDS Services Foundation, National Association of Mental Illness of Orange County, and Planned Parenthood, among many others. The iHeart club will also host a special screening of “The Last One, Unfolding the AIDS Memorial Quilt,” which chronicles the fear and intolerance that severely challenged the spirit of America as AIDS took the lives of many individuals during the early days of the pandemic. The screening will be held in Building 200, Room 229 at 4 p.m. The first 50 students to attend the screening will receive a free In-N-Out gift card. Panels of the AIDS Memorial Quilt will also hang in the Fullerton College Library for viewing throughout the week.
