Black Student Success Week
Join Fullerton College in celebrating the statewide Black Student Success Week from April 22 to 26. This year’s theme is Building a Better Future Together: The Urgency is Now and aims to highlight the success of Black and African American students and the commitment of California community colleges to help students reach their goals.
This annual event offers innovative strategies for engagement, outreach and foundational community building. Fullerton College, along with the State Chancellor’s Office, will provide a wide variety of activities, workshops and webinars.
In 2020, a dedicated coalition of leaders and advocates within the California community colleges pioneered the creation of Black Student Success Week, now observed during the last week of April.
