Humanities Instructional Building Ribbon Cutting Postponed
Jan. 5, 2022 Update – Out of an abundance of caution due to the rising COVID-19 cases in Orange County and California, the Humanities Building Ribbon Cutting scheduled on January 28, 2022 will be postponed to a later date. Fullerton College is excited to share the unveiling of this new addition to our campus and will re-invite members of the community to join us in a safe celebration once a new date has been determined.
The college and surrounding community were invited to the grand opening of the Humanities Instructional Building on January 28. However, this event will be rescheduled due to an increase in COVID-19 cases throughout Orange County and California.
When rescheduled – this event, generously co-hosted by BNBuilders, will begin with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. Built safely and without delay during the pandemic, this impressive 74,927-square-foot Instructional Building features 50 classrooms, office and meeting spaces, and an inviting central courtyard.
An Open House will then give attendees the opportunity to tour the facilities on their own and see the grand tiled dome up close with a guided tour of the roof. Guided tours of the new Central Plant will also provide guests with a view of sustainable energy practices by the college.
Parking and light refreshments will be provided.
COVID-19 Safety and Vaccine Mandate: This event is both indoors and outdoors. Masks are required indoors. Additionally, visitors, employees, and students will need to adhere to the NOCCCD vaccine mandate to attend. Visitors will be asked to show proof of vaccination, or a negative COVID-19 test result from within the last 72-hours.
