FC Hosts Regional Vote Center: A Note From the Office of the President and OC Registrar of Voters

Dear Hornets!

The 2022 General Election is upon us. Don’t miss your chance to have your voice heard by casting your ballot by November 8.

Voting in Orange County is easy and secure.

If you are a registered voter and received your vote-by-mail ballot in mid-October, but you haven’t returned it yet, there are several convenient voting options available to you.

  • Mail your voted ballot back to the Registrar of Voters. Postage is pre-paid. Just make sure your envelope is postmarked by November 8.
  • Deposit it into the official ballot drop box on campus in Staff Parking Lot 8 near the Aquatic Center and tennis courts.
  • There are an additional 120 ballot drop boxes throughout the county as well. Find a list and map of these locations here.
  • Come to the Vote Center on campus in Building 200, Rooms 224-228, which will be open from Saturday, November 5 through November 8.
    • From November 5 through November 7, the Vote Center is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. On November 8, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
    • There are an additional 180 Vote Centers in the county, 37 of which opened on Saturday, October 29. Find more Vote Centers here.

If you are registered to vote but did not receive your ballot in the mail, you can stop by a Vote Center to vote in person or get a replacement ballot.

If you are not yet registered but are eligible to vote, you can register to vote at a Vote Center and receive a ballot on the spot. You just have to be at least 18 years old, a U.S. citizen, and reside in Orange County to complete the same-day voting process in an Orange County Vote Center.

The Registrar of Voters can answer any of your voting questions. Simply call the Voter Assistance Hotline at (714) 567-7600 or 888-OCVOTES, email at ocvoter@ocvote.gov, or visit ocvote.gov.

Sincerely,
