Fullerton Debaters Win Big at 20th CSUF Blumer Forensics Tournament

Michael Wu and Zach Turner led a 1-2-4 Fullerton College finish at the 20th CSUF Blumer Invitational Speech and Debate Tournament May 2. They and the team of Sarah Benedict and Kenneth Baer closed out finals, with Wu and Turner prevailing in a close final debate. Rohan Shah and Alexander Antonowitsch finished a strong fourth overall. In sixth was the team of Samantha Banuelos and Grecias Sales. They were followed by two other Fullerton teams: Rachel Romo and Jamie See (seventh), and Adrian Abundes and Rodrigo Dimas (eighth). The debaters also placed high in top-speaker awards, with Turner (third), Wu (fourth), Baer (fifth), Benedict (sixth), Romo (seventh), and See (ninth) all placing in the top 10 speakers.
