Grand Opening of New Hornets Resource Center
The Hornets Resource Center (HRC) will open its doors to the Fullerton College campus community with a grand opening on Monday, Aug. 5.
Located in Building 1000, Room 1018, the new center will serve as a hub for basic needs services during the academic year, including access to supplemental food, financial and housing resources.
In addition, the center offers registration popups before the start of the semester, providing students with direct support for class registration, academic counseling and financial aid. Through Aug. 30, the HRC will have staff from admissions, financial aid, counseling and the Promise program, the initiative that provides two years free tuition for first-time college students. Laptops will also be available for student use within the center only.

The center’s operating hours are:
- Monday: 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Tuesday: 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Wednesday: 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Thursday: 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Friday, Aug. 23: 2-5 p.m.
- Friday, Aug. 30: 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Light refreshments will be available at the grand opening from 9 to 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 5 in Building 1000, Room 1018.
