Honoring Cesar Chavez Day Through the Power of Filmmaking
In honor of Cesar Chavez Day, the Office of the President invited filmmaker David Damian Figueroa for a special presentation to our Fullerton College family. The presentation featured a film screening of his works, as well a discussion portion with students, faculty and staff. Figueroa’s emotional documentaries about migrants and the border left attendees in tears, exhibiting the power of filmmaking and what it can teach us.
