Fullerton College Students Star in Episode of Manufacturing Series “The Architect”
Division of Technology and Engineering students Demetrius Jaedicke and Blake Warner recently starred in an episode of “The Architect,” a series by Hexagon and the Association for Manufacturing Technology (AMT). In the episode, our students showcase their skills using state-of -the-art technology in their fields of alongside faculty leads, Daniel O’ Brien and Leticia Ramirez. The episode is now available to watch on the International Manufacturing Technology Show’s website.
Mark Lopez Visits FC for Special Tea with a Trustee Event
NOCCCD Trustee Mark Lopez recently visited Fullerton College to connect with our Hornet community. The event was an excellent turnout where students, faculty and staff gathered for an insightful discussion on Board policies, support for our immigrant communities and much more.
We thank Trustee Lopez for his words of wisdom and look forward to his next visit.
Men of Color Center Hosts Inspiring Grand Opening
The Men of Color in Action Network team recently hosted an impactful grand opening that gathered our community to honor this exciting initiative. A full house, the event included heartfelt remarks and a special cleansing by Cesar Cruz from Homies Empowerment. We congratulate Marshall Johnson, President Olivo, Dr. Ziza Delgado Noguera and Dr. Jorge Gamboa for their work in making this center a reality.
Fullerton College Gears Up for Cultural Graduation Celebrations
Our cultural graduation celebrations are right around the corner and ready to honor the diverse identities and experiences of our students. Our new Cultural Graduation Celebrations webpage is now up and ready for students interested in participating in these celebrations.
Among our cultural graduations is also our first-ever Latine Graduation on Friday, May 22 from 6-8 p.m. in our North Gym.
FC Night Future Hornet Celebration Welcomed Incoming Hornets
Our FC Night Future Hornet Celebration recently welcomed 1,200 incoming Hornets and their families to visit our campus and learn more about why they should be a future Hornet. This annual event couldn’t have been successful without the hard work of our Educational Partnerships and Program team!
14th Annual French Film Celebrates Culture at FC
The 14th annual French Film Festival was a success! Last week, our French program welcomed our Fullerton College and local communities for two evenings of cultural fun – including French food, live music and movie screenings of exciting films. I’d like to give a shoutout to Dr. Catherine Reinhardt-Zacair, her team and the Fullerton College French Club.
