Fullerton College Celebrates Student Excellence at 69th Annual Students of Distinction Ceremony

On Friday, May 1, Fullerton College held its 69th annual Students of Distinction ceremony to honor the accomplishments of 20 graduating students.

The Students of Distinction award is the college’s most distinguished honor for student achievement. The awards are granted to high achieving students in four categories: academic, competitive, personal and service. From these categories, the top two students are selected and honored with the title of Distinguished Student of the Year.

2026 Distinguished Students of the Year, Chayenne Cirera, left, and Carol Yani hold up their award plaques.

Along with celebrating the 20 students of distinction, the ceremony also recognized the faculty and classified employees of the year. Each honoree was acknowledged for their commitment and contributions to the campus.
