Fullerton College Celebrates Transfer and Promise Students
Fullerton College recently celebrated its Transfer and Promise Celebration on Thursday, May 21 in the North Gym. This year’s event celebrated 144 students who have been accepted into four-year universities, 79 of whom have also participated in the Promise Program.
Former student commencement speaker Kash Amos opened the ceremony with a powerful keynote. “Fullerton College is not the end of your story,” Amos said. “This is the beginning of everything that comes next. This is where you decided to ignite the flame within yourself.”

Faculty, staff and managers who students identified as helpful to their transfer journey were also recognized, along with university partners from California State University, Fullerton, California State University, Long Beach, University of California, Irvine and University of California, Los Angeles.
The celebration highlights Fullerton College’s institutional commitment to transfer success through the Transfer Center and providing access to higher education through the Promise Program’s two-years of free tuition.
