Fullerton College to Launch a New Entry Experience on September 30
This fall, Fullerton College will join California Community Colleges across the state in transitioning from CCCApply to CCCStart, a new application experience designed to make the enrollment process clearer to prospective students and easier to navigate.
As part of Wave 1, Fullerton College will be one of the first schools to implement and offer this new entry experience for incoming and prospective students. Our campus is expected to launch CCCStart on Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
This is part of a system-wide change to the application experience, designed to simplify the application process, reduce confusion for new and prospective students, improve how students identify their educational goals and create a more modern, student-centered experience.

What is new about CCCStart?
- The entry experience is mobile-friendly and easier to complete.
- Application questions are more intuitive and more personalized.
- Your free OpenCCC carries your personal information from one college to another, so you won’t have to re-enter everything if you apply to more than one college.
- CCCStart uses fewer, smarter questions that are connected to your goals.
- You may notice that we use “Start” instead of “Apply.” Fullerton College is an open-access college, so you are not waiting to find out whether you will be accepted. You are beginning the enrollment process.
Who Will This Transition Impact?
This change will only impact new and prospective students who have yet to apply to the college. If you are already a student at Fullerton College or if you have already applied, no action is needed.

Access to our online application, CCCApply, will be unavailable beginning Tuesday, September 29 at 9 a.m. as we transition to our new application system, CCCStart. Access will return by Wednesday, September 30 at 9 a.m.
