Women’s summit to be hosted at Fullerton College

The inaugural tri-county Women’s Empowerment Summit will take place at Fullerton College on June 27 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. This summit will include resources and networking opportunities for women including college students, small business owners, non-profit leaders, veterans and more.

FC’s Ethnic Studies Department is a presenting partner along with the California Latino Leadership Institute, New Economics for Women, California Women Lead, Clayman Institute on Gender Research and Mount Saint Mary’s University. Professor Dr. Amber Rose González and Interim Vice President of Student Services Dr. Savannah Jones will participate as speakers during the summit.

Student attendance is highly encouraged and admission for students will be $10 until June 26 and $25 at the door. General admission is $40 until June 26 and $100 at the door. Parking for this event is free on the third and fourth levels of the parking structure.
