FC Drive Seeks Donations to Help Families this Thanksgiving

The Fullerton College Ethnic Studies Department is teaming up with M.E.Ch.A. and Associated Students for its 46th annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. This drive provides food for deserving families as identified by various Fullerton College service groups. Last year the drive helped more than 100 families, and this year the drive hopes to serve more families.

The drive is currently looking for financial and food donations. Donation boxes for non-perishable items are located throughout the campus and the last day to donate a food item is on Nov. 23. Financial donations are appreciated in the form of grocery gift cards or checks.

All donations received will be used for the Thanksgiving Food Drive and the Fullerton College Food Bank. All donations are tax-deductible and checks should be made payable to ‘M.E.Ch.A. Thanksgiving Food Drive.’ A formal donation letter will be sent by Fullerton College upon request of any donation.

For more information about the food drive, please contact Thanksgiving Food Drive Committee Chair Advisor Gerald Padilla at gpadilla@fullcoll.edu, (714) 992-7505, or visit office 1414-01.
