Fullerton College Eligible for the Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence
Fullerton College is one of 150 community colleges across the nation eligible for the Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence. Colleges eligible for this award implemented innovative strategies to help students achieve success in their academic goals.
The Aspen Institute based their nominations on three areas of student success:
- student success in persistence, completion, and transfer
- consistent improvement in outcomes over time
- equity in outcomes for students of all racial/ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds
Ten community college finalists will be announced in fall 2016.
