FC Forensics Speech and Debate Team Finish Strong
The Fullerton College Forensics Speech & Debate Team finished off their 2016 season strong, taking home numerous awards during the 22nd Blumer Speech & Debate Tournament at Cal State Fullerton on May 7.
Teammates Michael Wu and Kitiny Phumchum edged teammates Rohan Shah and Brian Gatpandan in team debate, while Justin Allen and Yash Patel took home third in the same category. Wu, Allen, and Patel also went 1-2-3 in top speaker awards.
Andrea O’Laughlin and Olivia LeValley both won first place awards for Persuasion and Informative categories, and Brian Wheat placed second for Impromptu.
