Communication Studies Department Hosts Career Pathway Forum

The Fullerton College Communication Studies Department hosted a Career Pathways Forum for Communication Studies majors on November 8 in the College Center. The forum included five panelists from various career fields who all shared the importance of developing strong and effective verbal communication skills for today’s competitive job market. Many also expressed the relevance of obtaining a Communication Studies degree and the versatility it can provide when obtaining a job.
Panelist included motivational speaker and CSUF professor LaToya Green, executive director of the Los Angeles Metropolitan Debate League Cameron Ward, professor and entrepreneur Matt Taylor, current law student Matt Shapiro, and former North Orange County Community College Board of Trustees Member Donna Miller.
Humanities Division Dean Dan Willoughby also received recognition for his outstanding leadership and support of the Fullerton College Forensics Speech and Debate Team.
