Consul General of Belgium to Guest Lecture
The Fullerton College community is invited to attend a guest lecture and Q&A by the honorable Henri Vantieghem, the Consul General of the Kingdom of Belgium on Oct. 24 from 1:20-2:45 p.m. in Building 1400, Room 1413. Located on the crossroads of Western Europa, between France and Germany, Belgium was created as a sovereign modern state and a constitutional monarchy in 1830.
Brussels, the capital city, has been the official seat of the European Commission, the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament since late 1990s. This presentation will explain the position of Belgium in international affairs and how it became home to the headquarters of the European Union’s institutions
