Accounting Society Students Clean Up Beach
Fullerton College’s Accounting Society isn’t just about helping students prepare for successful careers, the group also gives back and helps local communities through volunteer service work. Recently, members of the Accounting Society members connected with the well-known Surfrider Foundation, which is a nonprofit that helps organize beach clean ups throughout the year.
On Saturday, Nov. 2, six members drive out to Newport Beach and joined a group of 40 to help clean the beach.
“Attendees had a blast as it was a great experience for them to bond and to give back to our environment,” said Accounting Professor Brandon Tran.
Accounting members that attended were: Aristotelis Costoulas, Adam Waller, Dustin Cedarholm, Danton Wong, Chachmoni Ben-Yisrael, and Charles Kim.
