Undocumented Student Action Week Set for Oct. 19-23
Grads to Be Programs across NOCCCD have partnered to present a vibrant list of virtual workshops and offerings in celebration of Undocumented Student Action Week (USAW), Oct. 19-23. Now in its fourth year at the state level, USAW encourages California Community Colleges to engage in advocacy and support efforts in solidarity with undocumented students throughout the state.
This districtwide week-long campaign aims to foster a welcoming environment for all students regardless of their immigration status. Grads to Be Programs at Cypress College, Fullerton College, and North Orange Continuing Education (NOCE) staff have combined efforts to provide the NOCCCD community with this year’s USAW. You can learn more about each of the virtual sessions and register at the Grads to Be website.
