Donate to Fullerton College Students this GivingTuesday

This holiday season, Fullerton College and the entire North Orange County Community College District is once again joining the global generosity movement known as GivingTuesday! Funds raised will go towards scholarships, food insecurity, and other student needs.

GivingTuesday began as a simple idea—a day that encourages people to do good. Since it began in 2012, GivingTuesday has become a universal movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

“Thanks to the generosity of faculty, staff and community members our students benefit in the form of scholarships and emergency relief. I am grateful for the support our students have received,” said President Greg Schulz. “This support is more crucial than ever as our students navigate this pandemic.”

Fullerton College serves about 21,000 students and nearly two-thirds of students are low-income and are eligible for the California College Promise Grant. Even with a tuition waiver, the high cost of living can oftentimes create a significant burden on a student’s ability to attend college. Consider supporting students by making a donation.

“2020 has been a challenging year. Our lives have been impacted by COVID-19, civil unrest, and wildfires. Through it all, our faculty, staff, and students have supported one another and kept their commitment to achieving student success and lifelong learning,” said NOCCCD Chancellor Cheryl A. Marshall. “With student equity and basic needs top of mind, please consider making a donation of any amount to Cypress College, Fullerton College, or NOCE this GivingTuesday.”
