Campus Community Invited to Participate in Mindful Growth Activities

The Mindful Growth Initiative fosters contemplative practices and growth opportunities to develop equity, student success, individual well-being, and community. The entire campus community to participate in these mindful growth events:

  • Introduction to Mindful Growth: A 30-minute session that provides an overview of Mindful Growth and upcoming events and activities. Offered Tuesday, August 31 at 12 – 12:30 p.m.
  • Mindful Mondays at 12 – 12:30 p.m. and Thoughtful Thursdays at 5 – 5:30 p.m.: Quick 30-minute drop-in mindfulness practices.
  • Mindfulness Student Club Meeting: Thursday, September 9 at 3 – 4 p.m.
  • Introduction to Growth Mindset: Led by a Mindful Growth Student Ambassador, this interactive workshop is designed for students. Offered on Thursday, September 9 at 4 – 5:30 p.m.
  • Introduction to Mindful Awareness (Mindfulness): Led by a Mindful Growth Student Ambassador, this interactive workshop is designed for students and offered Tuesday, September 28 at 6 – 7:30 p.m.
