Associated Students Float OCTA Referendum
Associated Students passed a resolution to float a student referendum seeking to place a transportation fee on their spring ballot. The ballot measure calls for a $5.75 fall and spring semester fee for full-time students and a $5.05 fee for part-time students that would provide universal access to OCTA bus services. If approved by students, OCTA will provide the first year of bus passes at no cost. The fee would go into effect in the fall of 2020.
