Associated Students Host Student Engagement Week
Associated Students will host Student Engagement Week from April 25 – 29 with both in-person and virtual activities.
Here is a complete list of events and details for Student Engagement Week:
Menstrual Equity Drive – April 25 – 28, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., Quad
Associated Students will collect menstrual products. All items will be donated to the Chris Lamm and Toni DuBois-Walker Memorial Food Bank.
Mindfulness on the Quad – April 25 & 26, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Quad
Learn more about mindfulness. Practices will occur every 30 minutes.
Ice Cream Social – April 26, 12 p.m., In front of the Student Center
Associated Students will be handing out ice cream in front of the student center adjacent to the Campus Dining Room.
Denim Day – April 27, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., Quad
Wear denim in support of sexual assault awareness. Stop by the Associated Students booth to learn more about Denim Day.
Student Engagement and Empowerment Symposium – April 27, 12 – 2 p.m., Zoom
Student Trustee Erin Lacorte will host a Student Engagement and Empowerment Symposium on Wednesday, April 27 at 12 p.m. The student-led panel will allow students to share and discuss how they are navigating their education, work, and family responsibilities in this pandemic. Quadchella- Intimate Open Mic – April 27, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., Quad
Purpose and Belonging Workshop – April 28, 6 – 7:30 p.m., Zoom
Queer Loving Life Series – April 29, 2 – 3 p.m., Zoom
Fullerton College LGBTQIA+ will host Queer Loving Life on Friday, April 29 at 2 p.m. Previous event included a meet and greet with LGBTQIA2S+ Prof Expert Ariel Gentalen, info for Intro to LGBTQ class offered at Fullerton College and Queer Jeopardy. Register Queer Loving Life here.
