Students Encouraged to Run for AS Leadership Positions

Join Associated StudentsThe Associated Students of Fullerton College is seeking candidates to run for 2021-22 academic year. All student leadership positions are open:

  • President of Associated Students
  • Vice President of Student Senate
  • Vice President of Finance
  • Vice President of Activities
  • Vice President of Records
  • Vice President of Public Relations
  • Student Trustee
  • Student Senator (33 positions)

Steps to Run

Students who are interested in serving in student government and representing their fellow students, may find more information on the Associated Students website and should follow these steps:

  • Review the A.S. Election Orientation Spring 2021 PowerPoint. It highlights key aspects of the election process, including descriptions of senator responsibilities and the eligibility requirements.
  • Review the General Election Packet Spring 2021. This document is more detailed and includes the full A.S. Election Code.
  • Complete the application form and the image release form at the end of the General Election Packet; a fillable version is also posted online. The deadline for submitting an application to be included on the official ballot is noon, Monday, April 12

Campaign Timeline

  • Campaigning will occur April 12-23. Candidate statements, photos, and videos will be posted to the Associated Students website at as.fullcoll.edu/elections.
  • Voting will take place April 21-23. All Fullerton College students will receive directions later for how to vote.
