Student-Parents Luncheon Set For May 13
The CalWORKs and CARE programs are preparing for their annual Student Parents Recognition Luncheon, which will be Friday, May 13 in the Fullerton College Historic Court Yard (800B). The focus of the luncheon is to celebrate the successes and acknowledge the daily struggles student-parents face in order to complete their education, achieve self-sufficiency and create a brighter future for their children.
As in the past, through the generosity of the Fullerton College community, students in attendance will receive a $15 gift certificate to Target. In addition, students receiving a certificate, graduating and/or transferring will receive a certificate of recognition for their determination and success as they move forward in reaching their academic and career goals.
