Padilla Guest Lectures at Chapman University
On Jan. 18, Ethnic Studies Professor Jerry Padilla guest lectured for a Chapman University art class on the topic of Chicano Mural Art and Emigdio Vasquez. Vasquez was an American Chicano artist and muralist known as the Godfather of Hispanic artists. He is internationally known for his photo-realistic style.
VRC Receives Veteran Services Award
The Veterans Resource Center was recognized by Goodwill of Orange County’s Tierney Center with the Veterans Service Award and $2,500 during a holiday open house in December.
