Celebrating Women’s History Month
In honor of Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day, Fullerton College is hosting events and activities that honor and recognize the important role women make in communities locally and across the globe.
From inspirational stories of resilience to empowering testimonies of compassionate leadership, this month is all about telling the stories of the women throughout history who have tirelessly and courageously fought against injustices, advocated for equality and have shown great leadership in support of all women.
Join Fullerton College in celebrating Women’s History Month with a series of engaging events dedicated to recognizing and honoring the remarkable contributions of women throughout history and today.

Votes For Women: A Portrait of Persistence
Explore the complexity of the women’s suffrage movement through this dynamic poster exhibition from the Smithsonian. Paired with selected readings, students can use the exhibition to explore the history of the crusade for women’s suffrage.
Art of Afghanistan: Women in Resistance
This is a display of artwork done by women grieving the loss of education, freedom, and lives after the Taliban takeover.
Women’s History Month Select Readings
The display features a curated selection of biographies, memoirs and historical accounts, each highlighting the contributions and achievements of influential women throughout history.
