College Welcomes Love Fullerton April 23

Fullerton College welcomes the ninth annual Love Fullerton on Saturday, April 23 on the college quad. Parking is free to all guests.

This community-wide service day is spearheaded by OC United and brings together volunteers from churches, schools, city government, local businesses, organizations and other community groups who believe that we can do more by working together than apart.

Love Fullerton continued during COVID-19, however, this year marks a return to the morning and afternoon rallies on the Fullerton College campus and the first large-scale community-wide service event in the city of Fullerton since the pandemic started.

“The spirit of Love Fullerton is rooted in community service, partnership, and just what the name says – LOVE,” said Lisa McPheron, college spokesperson. “Fullerton College is excited to welcome our friends and neighbors to campus on April 23 and is deeply grateful for their volunteerism and commitment to serve our community.”

Love Fullerton is comprised of dozens of service projects that are spread out all over the city. Fullerton College students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to volunteer.  Volunteers can sign up for services projects on the Love Fullerton website.
