Debate Students Win Again

Three Fullerton College debaters picked up first, second, and third place awards on May 16 during the Southern California Intercollegiate Oratorical Contest in Los Angeles sponsored by the Women’s Christian Temperance Union. Kitiny Phumchun picked up first place and received a $1,000 scholarship, while teammates Taylor English received $300 for second, and Zach Turner was awarded $200 for third place. Phumchun and Turner were previously partners in the NEDA National Debate back in March which earned them a third place award in that tournament.
