Snyder Recommended for Fulbright Specialist Roster
Fullerton College Faculty Dr. Pete Snyder has been recommended for placement on the Fulbright Specialist Roster. This roster is made up of candidates who are eligible to be matched with incoming project requests from overseas academic institutions as part of the Council for International Exchange of Scholars. The Fulbright Specialist Program links scholars from the United States to host institutions overseas for short-term programs.
Candidates for the roster must submit an application including professional accomplishments, a motivational statement, references, a potential contributions statement, an outline of the potential value of participation in the program and go through a peer-review process. Appointment to the roster lasts up to five years
Snyder hopes to be assigned with a physical education/aquatics program at a college in Latin America. His book, Water Polo for Players & Teacher of Aquatics was translated into Spanish as Polo Acuático Para Los Jugadores Y Maestros De Deportes Acuáticos in 2014. Snyder plans to use the text for any potential seminars and clinics he participates in.
