Entrepreneurship Week is Coming to Fullerton College
Fullerton College is gearing up for Entrepreneurship Week, an exciting hands-on event designed to help students launch their own business in just one week from March 10-14. Hosted by the Division of Business and Computer Information Systems (CIS), the event welcomes David Ochi, a seasoned startup strategist and Executive Director of the California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) Innovation Incubator.
The event is available to students at Fullerton and Cypress colleges, North Orange Continuing Education (NOCE) and the local community. It will also offer hands-on workshops, mentorship and access to essential business tools for attendees to develop and launch their own business endeavors. Key event highlights will include:
- Free Business Resources: Students will receive free business cards, flyers, website domains, website setup assistance and advertising credits to kickstart their businesses.
- AI-Powered Business Ideation: Sessions on how to use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to generate business ideas and branding.
- The Hornet Student Marketplace Launch: A new online platform that will help students promote and sell their products or services.
- Industry Panels and Networking: Daily expert panels and “Ask Me Anything” sessions with local entrepreneurs.
- Morning Meetups: Open networking with coffee and breakfast each morning in Building 500, Room 525.
