Fullerton College Welcomes Students to Fall 2021

Fullerton College is thrilled to welcome students to its beautiful campus this fall in a safe and gradual reopening on Aug. 23. Significant changes have been made throughout the campus to upgrade ventilation systems and create safe and welcoming spaces for students. Students will be required to check-in when they arrive on campus.

Student Resources and Support

During the Fall 2021 semester, Fullerton College will gradually reintroduce in-person services – and– maintain offering an array of online support services for students. Most departments will begin the semester by offering services online, while we continue to monitor COVID-19 and the uptick of cases statewide. A full reopening of the campus is expected in January 2022.

Fullerton College will provide all students with free parking permits and free student ID cards during the Fall 2021 semester. These new forms of support have been added to the growing list of support services offered since the pandemic began. We encourage all students to review and access these services prior to the start of classes:

COVID-19 Safety: Masks and Health Screening Required

When coming to campus for in-person classes or in-person support, please bring a mask. Face coverings are required for everyone indoors. Students attending in-person classes, are required to take a health self-assessment, available on the Fullerton College Mobile app, and have their temperature taken before starting their class. This will be required each day you attend a class. Click here for more details.

Vaccinations Strongly Encouraged

Fullerton College is strongly encouraging all faculty, staff and students get vaccinated as soon as possible. The best thing everyone can do for their safety and the safety of others is to get vaccinated. The Fullerton College Health Center website offers a list of local COVID vaccination and testing sites. Fullerton College is doing the very best to reach #HiveImmunity.

Return to the Hive

Quick access to Fullerton College’s resources, support and services have been made available at the new Return to the Hive website. The site features important information about COVID safety, On-campus and Online Services available, and a list of Student Support Resources.

“The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic continues to fluctuate, requiring constant monitoring and flexibility. Thank you for striving to succeed with patience, understanding and optimism,” said Interim President, Dr. Gilbert Contreras.
