Fullerton College Art Department and Gallery Present: Parking Lot Prints

Location: Fullerton College, 321 East Chapman Ave., Fullerton, CA 92832  

In front of building 1000 in parking lots A and 8, facing Chapman Avenue. 

Join the Fullerton College Art Department and Art Gallery for a vibrant celebration of zines, book arts and printmaking. “Parking Lot Prints!” is a one-day community event featuring over 50 zine artists and printmakers transforming the Art Department parking lot into a bustling hub of creativity. 

What to Expect:  

  • Zinefest & Artist Market: Explore a wide array of zines, prints, books, patches, stickers and more from over 50 talented artists and zinesters.  
  • Main Event – Big Prints: Watch as more than 20 artists and students print original, large-scale woodblocks using a 36” drum roller under the supervision of Printmaking Instructor and Master Printer, Todd Smith. These striking black-and-white prints will be carried to the art gallery and installed by Gallery Technician Seija Rohkea and her team.  
  • Interactive “Print Maker” Tables: With the help of Fullerton College students, attendees can create their own multicolor block prints, monotypes and zines. 
  • Bring a Shirt – Print a Shirt! Bring your own t-shirt and the art department will print the official Parking Lot Prints! logo on it as a keepsake.  
  • Music and Food: Groove to the beats of DJ Alan, spinning live music throughout the day and grab a bite from Guac n’Roll Tacos, serving up delicious food right from the lot. 

Free parking for the visiting public at any of the Fullerton College campus lots!  Handicapped Parking violations, red zones, etc. will be enforced by Campus Safety. 

This event is free and open to the public. Whether you’re a seasoned printmaker or just curious, come celebrate creativity, community and the power of print.
