Fullerton College Celebrates 100 Year Anniversary With Exhibition at Fullerton Museum Center

(Fullerton, CA) On Saturday, April 27, 2013, Fullerton College will officially kick-off its Centennial with the opening of Legends and Legacies: The First 100 Years of Fullerton College. Running through July 14, 2013, at the Fullerton Museum Center, the exhibit explores the historical, social, and cultural growth of the college and its relationship with Orange County through personal histories and collections. Legends and Legacies also observes the growing role of technology in contemporary education and asks what the future of higher education should be.

An opening reception will take place on Saturday, April 27 at 6 pm and will include live entertainment, light refreshments, and a discussion with curators Carlota Haider and Christina Hasenberg. Tickets are $10 for the general public and free for museum members. To pre-purchase tickets, contact the Campus Box Office at (714) 992-7150 or visit between 9:30 am – 3:30 pm, Monday – Friday.
