Fullerton College Celebrates 68th Annual Students of Distinction Ceremony

Fullerton College held its 68th annual Students of Distinction ceremony on Friday, May 2 to honor the accomplishments of 20 outstanding, graduating students.

The Students of Distinction award is the college’s most distinguished honor for student achievement. The awards are granted to high achieving students in four categories: academic, competitive, personal and service. From these categories, the top two students are selected and honored with the title of Distinguished Student of the Year. Additionally, all Students of Distinction honorees will have the opportunity to audition for the role of student commencement speaker at this year’s Commencement ceremony.

Each student will receive a scholarship sponsored by Associated Students, Dr. Janet and Henry Emoto, Schlinger Students of Distinction, District Management Association, various donors from Fullerton College and the Friends of the Fullerton College Foundation. Additionally, the Distinguished Students of the Year will receive another scholarship and special recognition during the Commencement ceremony.
