Fullerton College Drone Lab Participates in Pacific Air Show
The Fullerton College Drone Lab was excited to participate in the return of the Pacific Air Show in Huntington Beach held Oct. 1 – 3. The program, which is led by Professor Jay Seidel, helped inform air show attendees about new courses and how drone training can help with career education and be used in various industries.
Approximately 1.5 million people attended the show on Oct. 2, many of whom stopped at the Drone Lab booth to get information. The Pacific Air Show featured both the US Air Force’s Thunderbirds and US Navy’s Blue Angels, as well as the Canadian Air Force’s Snowbirds and a variety of aircraft and military parachute teams.
“It is a great show for us to attend and let people know about our program and courses,” said Seidel. “We get to talk with prospective students, industry partners, and create opportunities for collaborations
