Fullerton College Foundation Hosts Sunset Mixer

Fullerton College was buzzing with business professionals and community members on August 10 for a Sunset Mixer, co-hosted by the Fullerton College Foundation and the North Orange County Chamber of Commerce. The event, which featured appetizers and plenty of networking, also gave Fullerton College the opportunity to showcase FC’s Business and Computer Information Systems Division.

Dean of Business and CIS Division Doug Benoit, provided information on the division’s programs, and guests were invited to visit the Career Closet, located in Building 300, Room 310-05. The closet features gently used business attire for students to use for job interviews as well as educate students on the importance of dressing for success.

The mixer also included a welcome by President Greg Schulz and FC Foundation Executive Director Chuck Allen and a raffle of prizes donated by chamber members. Also in attendance were North Orange County Community College Chancellor Dr. Cheryl Marshall, NOCCCD Board President Barbara Dunsheath, and City of Fullerton Mayor Jennifer Fitzgerald.
