Fullerton College Loves Fullerton, April 29

Students and staff of Fullerton College are encouraged to volunteer on April 29 for Love Fullerton,  a city-wide day of service that brings together more than 20 churches, city government, the mayor and City Council, the chief of police, local businesses, service organizations, public and private education and local residents to work together to enhance living and working in Fullerton.

More than 70 work projects are available, including a food collection for the Fullerton College Chris Lamm & Toni Dubois-Walker Memorial Food Bank. Students and staff who volunteer for this project will help collect food donations from two local grocery stores in Fullerton, or can choose from any one of the other service projects found on the Love Fullerton website.

In addition Fullerton College will host an information table at the morning rally starting at 8 a.m. in the Downtown Fullerton Plaza, where volunteers can pick up a pair of FC sunglasses and check-in for their service projects. Volunteers will also receive a free t-shirt from Love Fullerton and free lunch at the afternoon barbeque to be held at Fullerton College at the end of the day.
