Honoring Women’s History Month 

In honor of Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day, Fullerton College will host events to celebrate the significant impact women have made in history. From advocating for equality to fighting injustices, this month is all about telling the stories of women who have inspired many with their leadership. 

Join Fullerton College this month with a series of engaging activities dedicated to recognizing and commemorating the incredible contributions of women throughout history.  

Let’s Celebrate Women’s History Month: Angela Aguirre 
March 4 | noon-2 p.m., President’s Lobby, Building 100 
Come and listen to inspiring author Angela Aguirre for a poetry presentation exhibiting the theme of processing grief through writing, followed by the opportunity to participate in a writer’s circle, music and an open mic session. The first 25 students to show up will receive a free copy of her book, “Confessions of a Firework.” Lunch will be provided.

History is shaped by those who dare to resist. This Women’s History Month, we’re honoring the voices of women who have fought for justice, challenged oppression, and reimagined a more liberated world. Our Women’s History Month Book Display features inspiring stories, groundbreaking research, and powerful voices of women that have shaped our world. 

“Women Who Inspire Us” Tabling Activity 
March 12 | 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Cruz Reynoso Courtyard, Building 200  
Join the Cadena Cultural Center and write letters to the inspiring women in your lives. Snacks and music will be provided.
