Manufacturing Day Returns to Fullerton College

The Division of Technology and Engineering at Fullerton College is hosting Manufacturing Day from 8:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4. The event invites local high school students to engage in hands-on demonstrations, explore the many training options available at Fullerton College and tour several of the college’s manufacturing programs:

  • Fashion design and merchandising
  • Machine technology
  • Printing technology
  • Welding technology

The event will include students visiting five stations for each program, followed by a special exhibit from industry employers showcasing the available careers in manufacturing.

Fullerton College is a proud Orange Community College partnering with local high schools to highlight career and technology education (CTE) and career training opportunities. The goal of Manufacturing Day is to connect students with careers in the manufacturing industry through the campus’ corporate partners.

Celebrated annually on the first Friday in October, Manufacturing Day is a national initiative of the Manufacturing Institute that empowers manufacturing professionals to come together and build excitement for their communities. By bringing thousands of companies and educational institutions together, Manufacturing Day aims to inspire future generations to embark on an exciting career in the field.
