More than 500 Tune in for Online Convocation

Fullerton College hosted its 2020 Fall Convocation as a Zoom Video Webinar on August 21, 2020. More than 500 members of the Fullerton College community watched the presentation live. Topics covered anti-racism, COVID-19 response and planning, enrollment trends, the Classified Recognition Awards, construction updates, and recent successes in student support services and distance education. The event is available to watch on the Fullerton College YouTube Channel

The fall kickoff event typically presented in the Campus Theatre for faculty, classified professionals and administrators, was offered online in the fall of 2020 due to the COVID-19 campus closure.

Later in the day, President Greg Schulz, Vice Presidents Gil Contreras, Rod Garcia and José Ramón Núñez, Faculty Senate President Kim Orlijan and Classified Senate President Marwin Luminarias attended the various division meetings on Zoom to converse and answer questions from colleagues, not afforded during a typical in-person Convocation or in the webinar format.
