October is LGBTQ History Month
Fullerton College is proud to celebrate Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer (LGBTQ) History month throughout the month of October. In recognition, the campus is offering several opportunities and events to help support, honor, and create inclusive spaces for Fullerton College’s LGBTQIA+ community.
A list of resources and events is frequently updated on the college’s LGBTQIA website. This month’s events include:
National Coming Out Day – October 12 at 12 – 2 p.m. Hear from some amazing panelists as they share their stories and experiences. Register for the National Coming Out Day event here.
Celebrating Queer History Month with Associated Students – October 13 from 1 – 2 p.m. Join on Zoom. ID: 724 753 8939
Queer Book Club Meeting – October 27 from 3 – 4 p.m. The Queer Book meets once per month. This month the book club is reading Tomboy Survival Guide. The FC Library has free copies of the book available. Request a free copy using the Library curbside pickup and meet with the group on Oct. 27 on Zoom.
LGBTQIA+ Social Hour – Fridays from 1 – 2 p.m. Register for the social hour here.
