Phi Theta Kappa Earns Five Star Level and Distinguished Honors in Action Theme Award
Fullerton College’s Phi Theta Kappa Chapter, Beta Kappa Tau has earned the five-star level chapter status and the Distinguished Honors in Action Theme Award. Five-star status is the highest level of achievement a Phi Theta Kappa chapter can attain through its participation in campus, local, regional, national, and international activities.
The Honors in Action Theme Award recognizes chapters whose Honors in Action project award entries scored highest in each of the seven themes related to the 2020-2021 Honors study topic, To the Seventh Generation: Inheritance and Legacy. Fullerton College’s chapter was awarded in Theme 5 – Resistance – Reform, Rebellion, Revolution, for help implementing Ethnic Studies into the high school curriculum nationwide. They were also awarded the 2nd Most Distinguished Honors in Action Project Award.
“Such accomplishments display our chapter’s drive towards achievement even amidst the unparalleled times of the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Julisa Del Carpio, PTK Publicity Secretary.
