Honoring Black History Month at Fullerton College 
This month, Fullerton College celebrates the 100th anniversary of Black History Month observances. This milestone marks a century of national efforts to recognize and uplift the contributions of Black communities. Our campus invites everyone to inspiring events throughout the month, including a visit from actor Bambadjan Bamba, our Annual Beat Café and more. 

Spring 2026 Convocation Invites Hornet Community to Freedom Dream 
Our campus recently celebrated its Spring 2026 Convocation, “Freedom Dreaming at Fullerton College.” An exciting and emotionally impactful event, Convocation invited Fullerton College and North Orange Community College District members to learn about our basic needs resources, strategic plan and more. Our college thanks the team who put this event together for motivating our Hornet staff to freedom dream into a new semester. 

Fullerton College Renames Student Health Services and Food Bank 
Fullerton College recently renamed its Student Health Services to Student Health and Wellness Center and its Chris Lamm and Toni Dubois-Walker Memorial Food Bank to the Chris Lamm and Toni Dubois-Walker Memorial Food Pantry. These names were changed in an effort to better reflect the services offered. 

Drone Bachelor’s Degree Hits Enrollment Milestone 
Our new Bachelor of Science in drones and autonomous systems launched in December 2025 and received 17 applications. We’re very excited to welcome our new students and be a part of their journey as future industrial leaders. 

Fullerton College Recognized as LibreText Pioneer 
Fullerton College was recently recognized in the LibreTexts Monthly Newsletter for its contributions to the launch and development of Open Educational Resources. An exciting achievement, our campus has already hosted an in-person LibreText faculty training for the departments of Ethnic Studies, Theatre Arts and Art History. Our college thanks our OER/ZTC Jeanne Costello, Jennifer Merchant and Victor Meza for their work to make textbook accessible to students.
