Summer 2024 Construction Updates
This summer, Fullerton College is undergoing exciting construction projects to improve our campus. Please see updates below so you can successfully navigate any closures or construction impacts.
44 New EV Charging Stations Added to Staff Parking

Fullerton College has completed the installation of 44 electric vehicle charging stations in Staff Parking Lot E. The installation is part of a collaboration with Southern California Edison aimed at supporting electric vehicle (EV) adoption.
The spaces are designated for staff only, with specific parking rules to accommodate both EV and non-EV staff vehicles.
- The first row is reserved exclusively for staff with EVs.
- The next row accommodates both EV and non-EV staff parking.
- ADA spaces are available for EV parking by staff, students
,or visitors.
Although the installation is complete, the charging stations are not expected to be operational until October. These new stations will have no time limits for parking, unlike the four-hour EV limit at the Fullerton College parking structure. Signage will be installed once the charging stations become operational. Staff may utilize the parking spots as usual until signage is placed.
Building 300 Closure – Alternative Walkways to Avoid Building 300 Construction

Due to construction, the fencing around Building 300 now blocks the main sidewalk between the Library and Building 500. This is a primary walking path for students and staff to and from the student parking structure, Starbucks and the Campus Quad.
As a result, Fullerton College is providing a detour map to help you get across campus. The alternative pathways include:

From the Student Parking Structure, you may walk through the Starbucks courtyard between Building 840 and behind the Library to then access the Campus Quad and surrounding buildings. behind the Library to then access the Campus Quad and surrounding buildings. This route is ADA accessible.

From the Student Parking Structure, you may walk straight between Building 1300 and Building 300, and then left into the Campus Quad and surrounding buildings.

From Student Parking Lot 4, walk toward the Library, through the Campus Quad to reach Buildings 1100 and 1300. This route is ADA accessible.
